During these Times of Unrest I am Finding..

Like many others, that learning keeps me sane. I have been taking courses with Embodied Philosophy, the website founded and curated by my best friend Jacob which constantly blows me away with the quality of the courses. I have signed up for their course The Neuroscience of Mind Body Therapy, completed and loved their Art of Breathing course and the Virtual Bodies/Maya training.

Collaborating with my wellness family for the Retreats at Home has been extremely therapeutic, not just for me as a teacher but also as a student. I also have seen this benefit in my students. It’s been a blast, and I do hope you join us.

Even though I live at the beach, the beach has been closed for about 7 weeks and its been a torture. I get the beach feeling from my all time favorite coconut oil that I found in a CVS in Haleiwa, and have since never been without a bottle at home.

A candle while writing my upcoming Pilates Teacher Training helps set a mood for creativity and focus. My all time favorite is Moroccan Fig by Votivo. I’ve also found myself walking the nearby blocks looking for flowers and clippings of plants I can safely cut without disturbing any private properties or damaging the actual tree. Due to that I’ve grown a nice collection of plants and have decorated my home with these beautiful and inexpensive hanging planters.
